Parking & Directions
The university offers free parking to students and guests on levels 5 and 6 of the Garland Avenue Parking Garage while they attend orientation. We will have Orientation representatives at the Garland Parking Garage handing out parking passes 30 minutes before check-in. If you plan to arrive before then, we recommend printing your own pass (available next spring).
The Garland Avenue Parking Garage is your first stop at New Student Orientation. If you plan to be dropped off on campus, please check in with orientation leaders at the Garland garage as soon as you arrive. From there, our leaders will be available to guide you everywhere you will need to go on campus.
A campus map will be provided to you in your orientation packet, but you may also view the online campus map.
Lodging for Students and Guests
Students and guests will need to arrange their own accomodations if they choose to stay overnight in the area. Fayetteville offers a wide variety of accommodations near campus. Please check a list of local hotels.
