New Freshmen & Transfer Freshmen

Which orientation is right for me?

Virtual Sessions

During this 100% virtual version of orientation, students will have a one-on-one virtual advising appointment with an academic advisor, enroll in classes, and access online breakout sessions and modules designed to introduce you and your family to the various campus services and resources available at the U of A.

On-Campus Sessions

Students who attend an on-campus orientation session will meet with an academic advisor and enroll in courses virtually one week before their on-campus session. During the on-campus session, you and your guest(s) will connect with other students, and learn more about the resources and opportunities available on campus.

Honors Sessions

Honors eligible students have the option to attend an honors session, either virtually or on campus, or any other virtual or on campus session. No matter which session you attend, Honors students will have the opportunity to connect with the Honors College and register for Honors courses. Honors students will meet with an academic advisor virtually, regardless of session format or date.
